What to expect when applying

Our process consists of different steps aiming to be as clear and efficient as possible, allowing a good decision on both sides. For us, it is extremely important that you have a positive experience.

Screening

We screen all applications as soon as possible and contact the candidates most relevant for the position. We aim to give you feedback on your application as soon as possible.

Logic and personality assessment

We will invite you to take Alva Labs logic and personality tests as part of our recruitment process.

Interviews

Our recruitment process consists of 4 interviews:

 

  • Recruiter interviewThis interview is all about getting to know each other!
  • Culture interview: Focuses on two of our core soft skills, drive & informal leadership.
  • Skills interview: Goes deeper into the skills and attributes needed to succeed in the role. For this interview, we have some kind of challenge or case study.
  • Final interview: This final interview will be with someone from our Management team.

Do I need to prepare anything?

For the first steps, we want to get to know you on a general level and why you are interested in Detectify.

For our cultural interview, you will be sent material beforehand that tells you what we will be discussing and how you can set yourself up for success.

For our skills assessments, there is usually a case assessment with material you have to prepare beforehand. Your recruiter will inform you of what is required in your specific process and will give you any prep material needed.

I've just applied for a job. When can I expect to hear from you?

We screen all applications as soon as possible and contact those candidates that are most relevant for the position. We aim to give you feedback on your application as soon as possible.

There is a position that I am interested in. Can I apply over email?

Due to GDPR, we do not accept applications over email. Please apply via the job advert. By doing so, we also make sure we get everything we need to proceed with your application.

I didn't get the job. Is it possible to get feedback?

If you’ve had some form of interview with us, we will give you feedback. If you did not get to the interview stage, we are unfortunately unable to provide you with feedback on your application.

Why does Detectify do background checks?

Security is at the heart of what we do. We do background checks as part of ensuring that everyone that works at Detectify has great personal integrity and will never compromise our or customers’ trust.

Why do we do logic and personality tests?

We combine interviews with logic and personality tests to better assess whether a particular position will be the best match for you as a candidate, as well as to give everyone an equal chance. With that said, it is the combination of all aspects of your application that determines whether we are a great match for each other.

What does the recruitment process look like?

But in short:

  1. Alva Labs Tests (personality + logic)
  2. Recruiter interview
  3. Cultural interview
  4. Skills  interview
  5. Final interview
  6. Offer time!

You will meet several people during this process. Remember that you are  interviewing us as much as we are interviewing you, so please don’t hesitant to ask all of your questions and we will do our best to answer them.

Does Detectify provide relocation?

We provide relocation services to Sweden for most positions unless specifically noted otherwise.

What is it like to live and work in Sweden?

Sweden is a great place to live. You get to experience four seasons with nature around the corner, six weeks of paid vacation per year, free healthcare, paid parental leave, a work-life balance and many more things. Moving to a new country can be a big thing, but we are here to help you get settled in. And with over 33 nationalities in the organization, you have lots of peers that have had a similar experience.

Is there a dress code at Detectify?

No. Come as you are, and feel free to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable, productive, and true to yourself.

Can I bring my dog to the office?

We are a dog friendly company so in short, yes!

Can I work remotely?

We offer flexibility to work remotely and for most roles, you decide how you prefer to work. We do like to hang out together, so whenever there’s a team activity or a company wide event, we’d love for you to come to the office!
